Ecom Enable Ltd collects a small amount of personal data, for one reason: so we can reply to you. This page says exactly what we hold, why, how long we keep it and how to get it removed.
Who we are
Ecom Enable Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 16520526. Registered office: 172a Station Road, Harrow, England, HA1 2RH. We are the data controller for the information described on this page. Email hello@ecomenable.com about anything here.
What we collect and why
If you fill in a form on this site, we collect what you type into it:
- The contact form — your name, work email, your brand name or store link, and your message.
- The audit form — your name, work email, your brand, storefront URL or ASIN, the marketplace that matters most to you, and whether you want a Loom teardown.
If you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation sits on WhatsApp’s systems as well as ours. If you book a call, the scheduler collects your name, email and the time you chose. Our web host keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses.
We use all of it to answer you and to run the work you have asked us to do. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.
The lawful basis
For replying to an enquiry you started, our lawful basis is legitimate interests — you asked us a question and expect an answer. For client work, it is performance of a contract. If we ever email you marketing you did not ask for, that needs your consent, collected separately, and you can withdraw it at any time.
Who else sees it
Only the suppliers who make the site and our email work — our web host, our email provider, the form and scheduling tools, and the platforms we operate on your behalf when you are a client. Some of these are based outside the UK, in which case the transfer relies on the standard safeguards those providers publish.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that did not become work — 12 months.
- Audit data for someone who did not become a client — 12 months.
- Client records — six years after the engagement ends, which is the period business records have to be kept.
- Server logs — for as long as our host retains them.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- Tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete it.
- Stop or limit what we do with it.
- Hand it over in a portable format.
- Object to us using it, including for marketing.
Email hello@ecomenable.com and we will action it. There is no charge, and we will respond within one month.
How to complain
You have the right to complain to us about how we have handled your personal data. Email hello@ecomenable.com with the word complaint in the subject line. We will acknowledge it within 30 days and tell you what we are doing about it.
You do not have to come to us first. You have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK regulator for data protection, whether or not you have raised it with us. They are at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Automated decisions
We do not make any decision about you by automated means, and we do not profile you.
Changes
If we change how we handle personal data, we will change this page and update the date below.
